What should I bring?
Please check the specific recommendations listed on each tour page.
Do you accommodate vegetarian, vegan, celiac, or other dietary restrictions?
Please let us know your dietary needs in the “Observations” field when completing your Booking Form so we can make the necessary arrangements.
Can I be picked up outside of Porto?
For the 1 day tours pickup is free in accomodations located in Porto, Braga and Viana do Castelo districts.
If I cancel my tour, will I receive a refund?
- Cancellations made up to 48 hours before the start of your tour are 100% refundable.
- For cancellations or changes between 48 and 24 hours, we can reschedule your tour within the next year or issue a voucher for future use.
- No refunds or changes are available for cancellations made less than 24 hours before the tour or for no-shows.
Is accommodation included in the tour price?
However, we are happy to recommend excellent options across Portugal — from 3★ and 4★ boutique hotels to luxury 5★ stays.
We’ll provide suggestions to match your preferences and budget.

Will the guide/driver accompany us inside monuments and museums?
They share insights and cultural background during your drive and when arriving at each site.
In all cases, they accompany you inside monuments or museums.
Can we have visits with local guides?
In some monuments, we collaborate with certified local guides who offer in-depth insight into Portugal’s history and heritage, for example, at the Convent of Christ in Tomar or the Joanine Library in Coimbra.
Audio guides are also available in many locations as an excellent complement.
Are meals included in private tours?
When specified, our tours include meals at traditional restaurants carefully selected for their quality and authenticity.

Is there a minimum age for tours?
For participants under 12, please inform us when booking so we can provide the appropriate safety equipment in accordance with local law.
Is iTravelPortugal a registered and certified company?
iTravelPortugal is a licensed travel agency certified by Turismo de Portugal under registration number RNAVT 11615.

What should I wear?
We recommend comfortable clothing and footwear, a light jacket for cooler months (November to March), and swimwear for coastal áreas and river/ocean experiences.

How far in advance should I book?
While we can often arrange tours on short notice, we recommend booking at least two weeks in advance to ensure guide and vehicle availability.

How do I pay?
Free Cancellation 48 hours before departure.
Cancellations with less than 48 hours prior to departure or no-show, the tickets are non-refundable.
A 100% Pre-Booking deposit is required to confirm your tour reservation.
Online bookings full payment must be done 24 hours before departure.
