JURISDICTION AND APPLICABLE LEGISLATION
The conditions of access and use of this website are governed exclusively by the
Portuguese law.
iTravelPortugal and the user understand that the negotiation is the preferred way to
resolve doubts, disagreements or disputes of any nature that arise regarding the
interpretation or execution of legal or contractual provisions applicable to their relations, including breach of the obligations of the parts. However, once the negotiation has been exhausted, the parties agree that for the resolution of disputes arising from the use of this website, TRIAVE – Consumer Conflict Arbitration Center of Ave, Tâmega and Sousa.
TRIAVE is an alternative dispute resolution entity, included in the respective list drawn up by the Directorate-General for Consumer Affairs and communicated to the
European Commission, under the terms of paragraph 2 of article 17 of Law no. 144/2015, of 8 September.
TRIAVE is part of the Consumer Arbitration Network, which is made up of a specifictype of RAL entities: consumer dispute arbitration centers.
Consumer dispute arbitration centers are arbitration centers with specific jurisdiction in this area, authorized by the Ministry of Justice, and which resolve disputes through three potentially sequential procedures: mediation, conciliation and arbitration. Payments And Conditions
Before your booking at iTravelPortugal website, we encourage you to read our Payment Terms and Conditions carefully. These terms are an agreement between you and iTravelPortugal from the time that the booking is made.
Payment Terms
When you book directly through iTravelPortugal website, you should pay the total
amount established.
Pricing – Inclusions & Exclusions
Prices shown on iTravelPortugal website are per person unless otherwise stated;
Prices are subject to change until the booking has been confirmed;
What is included is stated specifically on each page;
Children under eighteen must be accompanied by an adult; Unless otherwise specified prices include all local taxes, charges or fees;
Prices do not Include (unless stated otherwise) – discretionary gratuities to the guide, driver or tour manager, extra food and beverages.
Payment Methods
When you book a reservation for a Tour through the website, you should make the full payments with Credit Card. The payment with credit card is processed in a safe way, from your card to iTravelPortugal bank account (Portugal Positive Travel, Soc. Unipessoal.) through a third entity which processes the payment (Stripe). iTravelPortugal accepts the following Credit Cards: Visa, MasterCard, American Express and Discover;
Full payment is required at the time of booking.
Refunds & Compensation
Tour reservations are 100% refundable until 48 hours prior to the start of your tour;
If we are notified of no show or changes between 48 to 24 hours of the tour we will be happy to reschedule you on a tour anytime over the next year or generate a voucher so you can book it at a later time.
No refunds or changes are accepted for no-shows or cancelations made less than 24 hours to the start of the tour.
E-tickets
All offers displayed on the website can be booked online or by phone;
Customers who have purchased tickets will receive an e-ticket via email;
Customers should keep e-tickets for the purpose of having information about the tour easily available.
Special Requirements
At iTravelPortugal we do our best to give all our customers full care and attention, but we do need to know at the time of booking if there are any special needs or requirements. It is particularly important that we are advised of any food allergies or dietary restrictions.
General Policies
- iTravelPortugal is a licensed travel and tourism agents and it’s certified by the Portuguese Tourism Agency as Travel Agency under the number 11615. This accreditation can be checked any time at ‘Turismo de Portugal’ or through its agencies around the world.
- iTravelPortugal Tours are fully insured by Liberty Mutual Insurance covering:
a. public liability
b. road risks
c. personal accidents - For each tour there is a detailed description of what is, or isn’t, included on our site www.itravelportugal.com. Obviously we can adapt each tour to your specific preferences and needs. According to our values we want to guarantee clarity about what is included in each tour. One of our primary objectives is to give the maximum possible satisfaction in a completely carefree environment.
- Visits with specialized local guides should be requested when booking the tour.
- Unless mentioned, our tours include client’s meals.
- The listed price of the tours is total per person, according to the number of participants.
- Our tours are escorted by very experienced expert guides, all of whom work with us full time. With excellent English, Spanish, French and Portuguese permission to skip lines and expertise that came from real-life experience and on-the-ground knowledge, they are the key to accessing hidden gems and experiencing the true authenticity of our culture.
- There is no minimum age limit. For under-12s, we ask that you let us know when you reserve, so that we can provide the necessary safety equipment according to local law and to ensure maximum safety.
Policies Reservations & Payments
- All reservations will be made through the email info@itravelportugal.com or on our website, through the online booking form.
- The reservation is only valid when confirmed through the email info@itravelportugal.com by the company Oortugal Positive Travel Sociedade Unipessoal Lda.
- iTravelPortugal has the right to cancel tours up to 48 hours after the reservation of the same, committing itself to the total restitution of amounts already paid.
- Cancellations are subject to the following penalties of the full trip price:
– Up to 30 days prior to the arrival no penalties applied. The exceptions are entrance tickets, third party activities, hotel Bookings, and transaction fees. This will be evaluated one by one depending on each provider policy;
– 30 Days to 15 Days prior to arrival: 20% of Penalty;
– Less than 15 days prior to arrival: 100% of Penalty. However, iTravelPortugal reserves the right to evaluate the possibility of making a partial refund.
